The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
